In a bid to provoke commotion at the Educational vicinity of Osun State, quite a few students of Baptist High School, Adeeke, Iwo appeared in the school in choir robes and other church garments.

This is coming on the heels of an approval by the Osun State High Court on June 3 that Muslim students should be allowed to wear hijab in all public schools in the state.

The presiding judge, Justice Jide Falola, had held that wearing Hijab was part of the fundamental rights of Muslims’ female pupils.

Following the verdict of the court, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) held an emergency meeting and threatened that it would direct Christian pupils to start wearing choir robes and other religious garments to schools should the state government implement the judgment.
